The Background
Restored Balance, (RB) is an on organic health and wellness company with a dual category product line in skincare and pain management/wellness, custom manufactured using natural, non-THC CBDs.
The Challenge
Not only is Restored Balance entering the crowded multi-billion dollar skincare industry, they are also fighting the misconceptions held by many that CBDs are just a form of liquid marijuana— which is not true, as CBD oil is derived from organic hemp plants containing 0.00% THC. This was a true startup company with little traction and a brand that needed help.
The Brand
Restored Balance needed to speak to a predominantly female demographic, while appealing to men as well. Because it’s also a custom manufacturing company, RB also needed to create a sustainable, classic brand that conveys a sense of stability. Because these products are personal in nature, the brand must be very experiential.

Brand Expansion
Expanding the RB Brand was a function of transferring the main themes, ideas and concepts of natural, organic skincare and wellness products to various venues and digital means. Restored Balance has exhibited at fairs, conferences and trade shows. They also have a strong online and social media presence. Cosmetic bags, labels and other merchandising are all core to the Restored Balance Brand.

When SilverTalon began its involvement with Restored Balance, they were a true startup, manufacturing product out of a converted laundry room in the owner’s home. Initially, RB needed funding. SilverTalon Consulting was able to write a comprehensive business plan accompanied by a detailed 6-sheet custom proforma with appropriate projections, budgetary items, COGS, and other financial factors to gauge future success.
