KEVIN D. GULLEDGE is President of SilverTalon Consulting LLC, a marketing strategy and business consulting firm based in Lehi, UT. For more than 10 years, he has worked in the field of communications to enhance sales efforts through targeted marketing initiatives.

Kevin is currently the Director of Marketing for Restored Balance, an organic skincare and wellness company who's been featured on a multi-million viewer Amazon prime reality show.  His body of work has included a full re-brand, extensive business plan, containing proformas, investor presentation pitch decks, two website builds with all content and graphic assets. He was also charged with writing all the legal agreements for this thriving business.

He was most recently Director of Marketing for Jumbo Bright Prompters, LLC, manufacturer of innovative new large prompters used by politicians, executives, ministries and entertainers such as Governor Huntsman, Glen Beck, Ernst & Young, Neil Diamond, BYU, The Hartford Group, Disney, LDS Church and NASCAR. While employed there, he created content, layout design and digital assets for JumboBright.com; he developed their affiliate program with materials for domestic and international sales teams, including collateral and compensation structure, he assisted in product prototype, testing and manufacturing; Mr. Gulledge was also was instrumental in the scripting, directing, filming, scoring, and editing of several integral video segments for promotion purposes; additionally, he helped to produce the look, elements, flow, brochures and functionality for their 20x20 booth and worked the two largest communications trade shows in the world, NAB and InfoComm.

Cold Case Foundation, (CCF) was a pro-bono project for a non-profit organization comprised of former FBI profilers who help solve cold cases across the country. It is the ultimate resource for homicide, missing person, unidentified bodies and rape/sexual assault cold cases with serial characteristics. Following the branding process, all communications were strategically written to directly tie back to each of the three hot buttons from each of the target markets. SilverTalon Consulting created a unique and powerful brand that spoke to Law Enforcement, Victims, and Donors. All written content and some graphic elements on the website were created by SilverTalon Consulting. Resources, such as a suicide prevention page, were also identified and added so victims and advocates could return to the site for helpful material. Mr. Gulledge also developed and produced some of the videos contained on the website. Working with remote videographer teams, we arranged an interview with John Douglas, the Chairman of the CCF Board, and father of criminal profiling. All donation levels, and incentive packages were also created by STC.

Mr. Gulledge’s other pro bono projects involved the creation of The Big Fitness Walk, a national movement to raise awareness of, and create solutions for the growing problem of child obesity. The national campaign centered around an attempt to break the world record for walking across the United States from NY to LA, and partnering with elementary schools to raise money for their PE programs. Mr. Gulledge provided web content and digital assets, created the social networking components including facebook pages, twitter feeds, and continues to work on web videos. He gained support from both BYU Bradley PR, and a UVU grant to continue the journey. KSL, KTVX and KCSG all ran TV stories, while The Daily Universe, and The Dixie Press printed stories about the efforts. He organized a 5K at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City as a kickoff event.

Mr. Gulledge was previously Director of Marketing for HM Farms A completely sustainable indoor organic produce cultivation, and distribution company poised to dominate the local marketplace through the meticulous merger of centuries-old farming techniques, with advanced technology accelerators. While working with HMF, he wrote the business plan, proforma, investor presentation, and secured primary and secondary funding. He also created the HMF brand, and infused the website with branded content and graphic elements. 

Mr. Gulledge was also President of SunVista Consulting, a strategic business consulting firm, where he expand his client’s visibility, credibility and market share. With SunVista, his previous consulting relationship with CCube, Inc. earned him the status of expert in the field of eCommerce, having helped created, design and deliver curriculum for a 5-Day eBusiness Consulting training workshop, which he conducted monthly in Dallas. This online marketing workshop served to educate CCube consultants around the proper marketing of online assets including SEO, SEM, PPC, affiliate marketing, back links and article marketing.

Market Analysis: Mr. Gulledge identifies large consumer patterns and develops systems to measure and monitor large-scale marketing programs in both B2C and B2B marketing sectors.  His results led clients to determine precise ad budget allocation, circulation size and thus increased ROI routinely. Mr. Gulledge is a dynamic presenter who not only created the content he delivers, but makes the most complex topics of online marketing and traditional business strategy and levels them so his audience can understand and embrace it. His delivery level spanned from senior staff and Marketing Directors to sole proprietors and Executive staff.  His delivery was used in assessing current marketing and developing overall marketing strategies. Mr. Gulledge served the retail consumer, food, hospitality, information technology, communications and various technology industries while with Harte-Hanks and Politis Communications.

Marketing Strategy: Mr. Gulledge provides analysis of current market channels and company direction as they relate to the competitive landscape both online and offline.  He is also instrumental in the development, deployment and monitoring of successful corporate online and offline marketing campaigns aimed at building market share and increasing revenues.  Frameworks developed by SilverTalon leverages marketing dollars to achieve dramatic, quantifiable results in revenue growth. This systematic approach not only uncovers innovation opportunities, but also dramatically separates a business from its competition.

Design Capabilities: Mr. Gulledge’s talents in multimedia presentation design, collateral layout, web design and site optimization aided public relations firm, Politis Communications, recognize significant growth, where he assisted in client acquisition strategy. His core capabilities using market research to tie layout with customer-anticipated outcomes led to repeatable success for his clients.  His work also improved investor relations and marketing communications for clients in Technology and Bio-Science industries. Mr. Gulledge’s successfully overhauled the corporate web site using his skills in HTML, Java and additional proprietary coding. In each project he also proved quite proficient using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to improve client messaging and eCommerce solutions. He has applied his proficiency of PowerPoint, Word and Excel in the multi-branch development of a financial services firm with more than 28 branches across the country and in Canada. His work provided the marketing, sales and presentation tools for their Consultants to engage and close customers in the market.

Research: Mr. Gulledge has conducted primary research for several companies focusing on market penetration, strategy and implementation. He has provided analysis that has become a pivotal part of the marketing review and justification process for expenditures at several Fortune 500 companies. While at Burrelle’s Information Services he provided innovative solutions in media monitoring. His review of hundreds of publications each week created a selective decision-making criterion process that was tailor made for each client. He also provided extensive industry comparison analysis reports from national and international coverage in the storage management software industry. 

Education: Mr. Gulledge received a Communications degree from Brigham Young University.  He gained an educational background in Public Relations from one of the top three recognized PR programs in the country. Mr. Gulledge was presented the prestigious Daniel J. Edelman award, by Edelman PR for the most outstanding PR student in the country. He also served on the PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) council.  While an undergraduate he gained distinction with Bradley Public Relations, a student-run PR firm, becoming its president. He tripled the client base to 14, and grew the project teams by 5 times—totaling 72 students.  Bradley PR was recognized nationally as the top collegiate PR firm.
