HalfMoon Farms

The Background
HalfMoon Farms desired to enter the crowed produce cultivation and distribution industry. The owner had previously been in the industry and was asked to come back due to lack of quality produce available. He agreed; however, wanted to re-enter with a more competitive offering. He decided to create an organic produce company using solar technology, radiant heat and greenhouses to extend the growing season and provide fresh, local organic produce to the Utah market.

The Challenge
Steep competition and lack of initial capital was a huge barrier to entry; however, SilverTalon Consulting was able to create a 35-page Business Plan with a 56-page Appendix, and a 5-sheet Proforma, to raise their initial funding.

The Brand
HalfMoon Farms needed to radiate fresh, local and organic.
